Carin A. Marney, J.D.
Lane Powell
Seattle, WA

Overview: The Covid-19/Novel Corona Virus pandemic is in its second year. Carin Marney of Lane Powell will present on various issues relating to your practice as a health care provider during the Covid-19 pandemic given current mandates and regulations. In addition, the meeting will provide neuropsychologists an opportunity for informal discussion concerning mitigation strategies, vaccine mandates, options for referrals or patients who refuse vaccines, and how to manage the stress of practice during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Neuropsychology practices must respond to changing disease dynamics. Following Ms. Marney’s presentation, participants will be encouraged to share how they have adapted their practices because of COVID-19. Discussions will be encouraged to address relevant topics such as: online or other sources relied upon for accurate and current information; coping with disinformation; tele-neuropsychology; decisions about who and how we assess individuals; potential for differential disease exposure among those who interview and those who administer tests; personal experience of impact of Covid-19.

An idiosyncratic list of reading materials will be available at the PNNS website to stimulate discussion.  Go to the "Professional Issues" tab, and select "COVID", or click HERE.
